Heaven Couldn't Wait
Deborah H. Taylor

Synopsis

Deborah Taylor tells the heartbreaking story of the loss of her beloved son, Benjie. Heaven Couldn’t Wait deals with the ultimate fear of every parent: as vigilant as we might be concerning our children’s safety, there may come an instant when tragedy strikes. Deborah Taylor experienced that chilling moment, when the call to a child who is too quiet is not answered. Taylor writes straight from the heart in an introspective manner that illuminates a path to healing and peace. In a tribute to Benjie, Taylor courageously shares her experience as a means to reach out to other families suffering the loss of a child. Heaven Couldn’t Wait tells the story of Benjamin Lee Taylor, an engaging child whose vibrant personality won the hearts of everyone he met. He was the boy his parents, Deborah and Buster, had longed for. When his little sister, Tiffany, was born, the Taylor family was happy and complete. However, that happiness was short-lived.

When heartbreak of this magnitude occurs, how does a parent begin to cope with the overwhelming grief and guilt? Deborah Taylor has written this account as a means to reach out to other families who have lost a child; to offer her support and empathy as only someone who has experienced such profound grief can.

Deborah Taylor is currently a volunteer at the school her daughter, Tiffany, attends. She is also a soccer mom, a dance mom and a Scout mom. She has received numerous awards for her volunteer work. Prior to becoming a wife and mother, Deborah attended California State University at Fullerton where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology. After college, she worked for Airclaims, Inc., a London-based company that adjusts aircraft insurance claims. Deborah resides with her husband, Buster, and their daughter, Tiffany, in Tustin, California.
