When I sat down to write these devotional prayers, I had a lot of ammunition from my own life as a single parent. But I also turned to my "real" friends as well as my "virtual" friends for ideas. The chatrooms were full of single parents needing advice and comfort for the times that almost all of us experience sooner or later, which is what I wanted to convey in my book...being angry over money (or the lack of it), trying to mom AND dad, dealing with life changes beyond the divorce from or death of a spouse. And there are prayers for the good times as well. This is not a book that will change your life, but it will allow you to take a few minutes, catch your breath, and maybe take a second look at what you're facing.
