This book is about facing-up to Death. When James' grandfather dies, his good friends Joe and Gwen share his experiences of coping with the death of a loved-one. James remembers the happy times he spent with his grandfather and expresses what his grandfather had told him about death. After the funeral, James takes several days before becoming like "his old self" and finally, he discovers that he will be able to remember his grandfather with the help of photographs, stories and fond memories.
