This story picture book uses three individual stories of children dealing with the news of a death of someone important to them. The three vignettes deal with the death of an uncle, the death of a class-mate and the death of a grandparent. Especially appreciated are the multicultural illustrations and the clear and compassionate way children are given information and taught to express their caring and concerns throughout the book.
