The evidence for animal afterlife is very persuasive. Since writing this book, I have received numerous letters from readers who said they couldn't put it down once they started reading. This is because the true experiences I reported are amazing--and very few of them can be explained away as grief-induced hallucinations. These are not "ghost stories" that one can take or leave--they either really happened or beg for some alternative explanation that is hard to come by. I doubt that anyone can finish the book and remain a disbeliever.
