Justice for All
This Texas based group has links to information all over the USA. Through private
citizen and corporate membership, Justice for All will peacefully exert the
social and legislative influence necessary to effect positive change in the
criminal justice system. An informed, dedicated and politically active membership
will be the greatest asset in achieving that objective.
Mothers
Against Drunk Driving (MADD)
"Mothers Against Drunk Driving is a 501(c)(3) non-profit grass roots organization
with more than 600 chapters nationwide. MADD is not a crusade against alcohol
consumption. Our focus is to look for effective solutions to the drunk driving
and underage drinking problems, while supporting those who have already experienced
the pain of these senseless crimes."
The
National Organization of Parents of Murdered Children
POMC provides the ongoing emotional support needed to help parents and other
survivors facilitate the reconstruction of a "new life" and to promote a
healthy resolution. Not only does POMC help survivors deal with their acute
grief, but with the criminal justice system as well. The staff of the National
Headquarters of POMC will assist any survivor and, if possible, link that
survivor with others in the same vicinity who have survived their loved one's
murder. In addition, the staff is available to provide individual assistance,
support and advocacy. The staff will also help interested parents or immediate
family members form a chapter of POMC in their community. |

Parents
Against Corruption and Cover-up (PACC)
"We founded Parents Against Corruption and Cover-up (PACC) shortly after the
1991 murder of our son, Tommy. We created this web site as a repository of information
related to Tommy's murder and the cover up by the FBI and Fairfax Co. VA police;
as a gallery of squares and stories represented in The Coverup Quilt (a family
memorial to victims of covered up murder), and as an online home for our newsletter,
The Bulldog ........ Tom Burkett & Beth George" The site also has Suggestions for
those who have lost a loved one due to violence, which outlines things to
do to assure accuracy of the police investigation.
