Compassion and Choices
Compassion & Choices' consultation program uses the power of choice and
comfort to restore hope to individuals and their loved ones at the end of life. Our professional staff and
trained volunteers help thousands of clients each year by listening without judgment to their fears and
guiding their search for a peaceful, humane death. We help clients with advance directives, local
service referrals, and pain and symptom management. We offer information on self-determined dying

Caring for our Own Death
CROSSINGS works to integrate dying and after-death care
back into our family and community life. We work to remove the barriers that keep you locked into few
alternatives after the death of a loved one. We create opportunities for families to complement the loss
and grief of death with healing and love.

Hospice Foundation of America provides leadership in the development and
application of hospice and its philosophy of care for terminally ill people, with the goal of enhancing
