GriefNet is a fully self-supporting, non-profit, 501(c)(3) charitable organization. We are run by the bereaved, for the bereaved. GriefNet was the first online grief support group site, and are now the only site which offers monitored email support groups for all types of loss due to death. We have created an on-line community and developed the methodology to provide a safe haven for people raw and vulnerable in their grief.

Our funding is entirely through donations. We request a small fee for group membership, which is fully tax deductible, but never turn away those in financial distress.

You can help cover the costs of a member who is unable to cover these costs by becoming a GriefNet Supporter.

Each $10 monthly donation allow one grieving person suffering financial hardship to belong to a support group.
